Our Philosophy The Youth Ministry Program at St. Anthony's encourages young people to embrace Catholic values through social activities, worship, reflection, and community service. Our program is structured according to the vision set forth in the 1997 U.S. Catholic Bishops’ document, Renewing the Vision: “youth ministry activities should reflect a comprehensive response of the Christian community to the needs of young people and their families and the sharing of the unique gifts of youth with the larger community.” This vision gives us three goals:
Empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world
Draw young people to a thoughtful participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community, and
Foster the personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
